My Learning Insights for Managers

Definition: Number of people with an active account in your learning system(s).





Purpose: Check for large fluctiations in the audiences. Also to correctly interpret other metrics

Definition: Learning hours is the expected time required to complete a learning program. Learning hours are calculated only for completed programs, The average learning hours per learner is the total number of learning hours recorded for active learners divided by total number of active learners.

Purpose
: track average learning hours towards the goal or last year.

Definition: total learning hours recorded per skill, subject or topic (depending on your own taxonomy).





Pupose: Validate if employees are indeed spending their learning time on the skills that matter most for the company

Definition: Total amount (Year to Date) of spend on training by the organization. Available only when the cost per training is available

Purpose: Track total spend vs budget and track if the spend on training is happening in the right part of the organization

Definition: Total amount (Year to Date) of spend per learner.

Purpose : track average spend per learner vs personal training budgets and if spend is happening in the right part of the organization.

Definition: Average evaluation score is a L1 impact metric per skill, subject or topic (depending on your own taxonomy).

Pupose: L1 Kirkpatrick is an indication of satisfaction of learners with the learning programs

Definition: % assignments with status completed from all assignments active at the time of reporting. Assignments are training requirements pushed to learners as mandatory to complete.

Purpose: Track % completions actuals vs target. Assumption is that the target is 100%

Definition: % assignments from all assignments with a due date where the due date is passed, but the training not completed


Purpose : track % of assignments past due to follow up

Definition: % of active learners who have completed all their assigned training.



Pupose: Tracking % of the organization that is fully compliant with all training requirements.
